Philosophy

Forest Trees

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness.

This means that I look at how all areas of life are connected. Food is really a secondary factor to making a healthy change.  Lifestyle is really the primary factor to creating optimal health and wellness and most often needs addressed.  Does job stress or toxic relationship(s) cause emotional eating? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent exercise? These are just a couple examples on how I assess life and their impact on health as a whole.

I work with clients to get in touch with their body's needs because I understand that life happens and personal needs will change. I equip my clients with self-awareness to make decisions aligned with their goals for any given circumstance. I believe each person is fully capable of making well-informed decisions from an internal perspective and can act as their own expert.

I help clients define what they value most for their well-being, which includes a clear vision in order to motivate specific strategies that bring them closer to where they want to be.  I do not dictate a diet or lifestyle approach, but instead allow individuals to tune into themselves to explore why some foods or actions make them feel better than others. From this point, individuals have a foundational starting point and and a functional understanding of how to strategically use that feedback and apply it to their own life.

While I am currently not accepting new clients, I hope this space will help your define what you need to achieve your health and lifestyle goals.

The Process

Tired of one-size-fits-all approaches to dieting?

Drained from toxic relationships?

Overwhelmed by stress at work?

Fed up with those nagging cravings?

Want to feel great in your body?

Ready to accomplish your goals in a way that's empowering and exciting?

It's rare for anyone to get an hour to explore their wellness goals with a trained professional. As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I create a supportive environment that enables my clients to articulate and achieve their goals. Throughout my education, I have been exposed to the most innovative dietary theories and studied highly effective coaching techniques to help clients find the right lifestyle that works best.

Most approaches to healthy eating dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, my clients find these changes collectively creating a much larger impact than they originally anticipated.

Through working together, I help clients:

  • Envision their wellness goals and provide the tools to achieve them

  • Create a sustainable, personalized blueprint

  • Decipher their own body's unique needs

  • Set personalized goals that work with their life

Services provided to my clients:

  • One-on-one phone conference

  • Weekly support

  • Email accountability and recommendations

  • Tailored recipes

  • Handouts specific to individual needs and goals
