CRANBERRY ORANGE SMOOTHIE BOWL

With the holiday season upon us, I decided to add a twist to my smoothie routine. The flavors of this smoothie reminds me of a decadent cranberry orange pound cake but with a healthy boost of detoxification benefits!

SERVES 1


INGREDIENTS:

1 cup unsweetened cashew milk

1/2 peeled frozen banana (or 1/2 cup frozen zucchini if low sugar)

1/3 cup frozen cranberries

1 tsp orange zest or orange extract (or 1 drop Young Living Vitality Orange essential oil)

1/2 cup ice

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp coconut butter

1 Brazil nut, optional

1 scoop collagen, optional


Optional Toppings:

1-2 tbsp coconut flakes

1 tsp bee pollen


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add all ingredients to the blender.

  2. Blend and add to a cup or bowl.

  3. Top with 1-2 tbsp coconut shavings and a sprinkle of bee pollen if desired.
