This is a surprisingly sweet, refined-sugar-free and fruit-free recipe. It's a perfect low carb smoothie alternative to keep your tastebuds and your blood sugar happy. I promise the flavor of the frozen vegetables will go unnoticed and will add a great texture to your smoothie.

SERVES 1
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup unsweetened milk of choice (I like coconut for its natural sweetness)
1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice
1/2 cup frozen sliced zucchini
1/2 cup ice
1/4 tsp pure maple extract
1/4 tsp maple stevia glycerite
1 tbsp pecans
2 tsp coconut butter
2 tsp chia seeds
1 Brazil nut
1 tsp cinnamon
1 inch piece fresh ginger
1 scoop protein powder
OPTIONAL ADD-INS:
1 scoop collagen
1/2 tsp Maca powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp honeysuckle powder
1 tsp coffee grinds or beans
Shot of espresso
OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:
1 tbsp cacao nibs
1 tbsp unsweetened toasted coconut flakes
Bee Pollen
Crushed Pecans
DIRECTIONS:
Add all to a blender. I like to add liquid first, followed by powders, followed by frozen veggies and ice.
Blend until fully puréed and thick and creamy. You may need to turn off the blender to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.
Pour into a bowl or glass and add your favorite toppings if desired.
