SPICED BLACKBERRY PEACH "PIE" SMOOTHIE

A delicious pie-filling inspired recipe that is completely banana-free and refined sugar-free that is certain to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Serves 1
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup frozen balckberries
1/2 cup frozen peaches
1 inch piece fresh ginger
1 tbsp Creamy Maple Nut Butter (or nut butter of choice)
1 tbsp chia seed
1 cup coconut milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/4 lemon juiced
1 scoop protein powder
1 tsp Maca, optional
Optional Toppings (Choose 2-3):
1 tbsp Coconut flakes
1 tbsp Cacao Nibs
1 tsp bee pollen
1 tbsp pecans
1 tsp chia seeds
DIRECTIONS:
Add all ingredients to the blender, starting with the coconut milk first.
Add the lid to the blender and blend until smooth. Turn off the blender, remove the lid, and use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the blender. Return the lid and blend for a few more seconds to full combine.
Turn off the blender and remove the lid and pour the liquid into a bowl or glass.
For a smoothie bowl, simply top with 2-3 tbsp of your favorite fat and fiber toppings such as unsweetened coconut flakes, bee pollen, and/or raw unsweetened cacao nibs.
