CARDAMOM CASHEW BUTTER

This cashew butter is so incredibly delicious, you’ll never want to buy pre-made again! This recipe is so easy to make and because cashews are a soft nut, you do not need to pre-soak before blending!


INGREDIENTS:

  • 14 ounces raw cashew

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp cardamom

  • 2 tbsp coconut or avocado oil

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a food processor, add all the ingredients.

  2. Turn the food processor on and blend the cashews until they turn into a paste. Stop the processor, remove the lid and scrape down the sides with a spatula.

  3. Turn the blender back on and let it run until the cashew butter turns creamy. If you are struggling to blend the nuts into a smooth creamy texture, add an additional tablespoon of oil.

  4. Pour mixture into an air tight glass jar.
